Emmy Noether initiatives
Perimeter Institute aims to effect positive change in the balance of women and other under-represented groups in theoretical physics through a series of special initiatives named after pioneering German mathematician Emmy Noether. Learn more about our initiatives.
Health and safety
Perimeter Institute is vitally interested in the health and safety of its employees, volunteers and patrons. The Institute will strive to eliminate any foreseeable hazards which may result in fires, security losses, damage to property and personal injuries or illness. Responsibility for maintaining a safe and healthy environment rests with every individual. It is imperative that all hazards are reported immediately to the immediate supervisor or volunteer coordinator. Prior to any event/volunteer effort, staff and volunteers are expected to review the Institute exits and emergency procedures.
